Title I
Title I, Part A (Title I) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESEA) provides financial assistance to public school units and schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards. Federal funds are currently allocated through four statutory formulas that are based primarily on census poverty estimates and the cost of education in each state.
Title I at NEAAAT
NEAAAT ensures Title I funds are used so that all students have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and state academic assessments.
Parent Education Events
Parent Education events are held throughout the year at NEAAAT to help parents better understand their child's educational experience or can help parents with resources to assist with raising teenage children (social media use, mental health). If there is a topic you would like to see as a parent event, please contact Carolyn Walton.
