CEO's Message

We’re so glad that you’ve taken a few moments of your time to learn more about our school!

As a public charter school, all students currently residing in North Carolina are eligible to attend our school — at no cost! We offer transportation to and from school each day across a six-county region so that transportation is not a barrier to attendance, and we operate a Free and Reduced Lunch program so that no student goes hungry.

At NEAAAT, students engage in real world, hands-on learning that challenges and prepares them for the future of work. In addition to innovative middle school classes, general and honors high school diploma and college transfer pathways, we offer very unique, specialized courses in the fields of aviation, IT, and (coming this fall) healthcare.

In fact, we are proud to offer our students access to courses developed by some of our national partners, like the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association-Purdue University High School Aviation Program, Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy, and the CodeHS Curriculum Pathway.

With the help of our college, university, and business partners, we’re continuously crafting new and exciting learning opportunities to create very clear, seamless pathways from high school, through college, and on to high-paying, high-demand careers in our area. By keeping our students at the center of all that we do, our team works tirelessly to graduate students who are ready and confident to tackle life’s challenges.

I encourage you to peruse our site to learn more about our school. We hope you find this information helpful, and we encourage you to join us at one of our upcoming events, such as our annual Exhibition of Student Learning.

Wishing you all the best,

Dr. Andrew R. Harris, Chief Executive OfficerNortheast Academy for Aerospace and Advanced Technologies
