2020-2021 Application NOW OPEN!

Thank you for your interest in joining the NEAAAT family! The 2020-2021 Application for Admission is now open!

Admission to the Northeast Academy for Aerospace and Advanced Technologies (NEAAAT) will be determined by a lottery held on May 9, 2020. Applications must be mailed and postmarked, emailed, or submitted through the Lotterease online application system between January 1, 2020 and April 30, 2020 to be entered into the lottery.

Charter School Advisory Board

NEAAAT Students Present to the Charter School Advisory Board NEAAAT students Alexandra Pitchford, Abbigail Barry, Gabrielle Hoskins and Tevin Walton presented along with CEO Dr. Andrew Harris, Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Joseph Peele and Executive Director of STEM Dr. Tonya M. Little at the Charter School Advisory Board meeting. The students shared their experiences with FLL and engaged the board representatives in an EV3 Robotics demonstration. Way to go, Griffins!

NEAAAT Robotics Team

NEAAAT FRC Team #7715 travelled to Greenville, NC this Saturday to begin work on this year’s competition robot. Working with their mentor team, The Pitt Pirates, the team was able to get their drive base assembled, engineer their launch mechanism, design 2020 team logos and work on team marketing. Way to go Robo-Banditos! A special “thank you” goes out to Pitt Pirates, FRC Team #2642, for letting us work in their Fabrication Lab!

NEAAAT Students Make Headlines

6th-grade students Abbigail Barry and Macayla Williams complete a teamwork challenge of stacking cups using strings and rubber bands in a FIRST LEGO League teamwork activity.
