Town Hall FAQs
Dear NEAAAT Family,
Our team is working diligently to prepare for the upcoming school year. Today, Governor Cooper announced all schools will reopen on Plan B at a minimum. As we have received up-to-the-minute guidance from our public health partners at the local, state, and national levels, we have updated our reopening plans to incorporate the latest practices designed to keep students and staff safe. We are currently in the process of revising our school reopening plans required by Governor Cooper and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Please rest assured that NEAAAT will be fully prepared to keep our students safe while providing a powerful learning experience.
We need your assistance. We are sharing a survey that we ask all parents to complete by Friday, July 24. The survey will be shared via email, social media, and our website. The data collected will provide critical information about possible reopening plans and bus ridership. It is highly important for all NEAAAT parents to complete this form to indicate their transportation and before/after school needs for the 20-21 school year, even if you do not have a need for either service. Any student that intends to ride the bus must register to secure a seat. Any student that does not register may not be guaranteed a seat on the bus and will need to find alternate means to get to school. This is for COVID-19 safety measures.
Secondly, we request your participation in Google Meet Town Halls based on grade levels to provide critical feedback concerning our current reopening plans. Your feedback will help our team finalize our reopening plans and best meet the needs that currently exist across the NEAAAT Family. The survey links can be found on the menu to the left and Town Hall information below.
Thank you in advance for your commitment to the mission and vision of NEAAAT. I look forward to reviewing your responses to the surveys and speaking with you at each respective Town Hall meeting. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (252) 562 – 0653 or email@example.com
