Learning to Select Strengths in Teammates

English II students developed effective teams by picking teammates based on strengths. A group of captains left the room and all other students wrote their skill strengths on sticky notes but didn’t include his/her name. Once the captains returned, they chose the sticky notes based on strengths that they needed on their team, and therefore, the student that wrote the sticky note the captain chose was on that captain’s team.
